The Tulsa World reports that the Oklahoma County district attorney and the state Pardon and Parole Board have reached a tentative agreement that likely will end an 18-month standoff over alleged Open Meeting Act violations by the board.
Board Chairman Marc Dreyer told the Tulsa World that several months of negotiations were set to end with an acknowledgement by the board regarding those violations and dismissal of criminal misdemeanor charges by District Attorney David Prater.
Prater told the World a deal likely would be announced soon.
