MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) — About 100 educators from across Tennessee and around the nation are expected to attend a science, technology, engineering and math education research conference in Murfreesboro.
The event started Thursday and concludes on Friday.
Event director Tom Cheatham of the Tennessee STEM Education Center on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University says the ultimate goal of the conference is "to engage students in the learning process" in math and science.
Various breakout sessions will highlight Friday's conclusion to the conference.
