It was one of the worst days of Sgt. Ryan Stark's life.
Jake, Stark's first partner in the Oklahoma City Police Department's K-9 unit, had been diagnosed with spinal cancer about nine months after retiring from the K-9 unit and couldn't walk or stand up.
On May 20, Stark and his family put Jake down.
